I say this is an awesome tutorial. It's simple, easy to follow and it requies only 10% of my brainpower. Good show lad, good show.

Looks cool :3
But remember, try to keep the bars aligned with the Vcam's border.

Just for the record, you can place the V-cam in a new symbol and have the logo in that new symbol so the actionscript is not affecting that symbol

Yeah, nevermind.
I saw that method a maplemation V-cam, but I guess it doesn't work for the kinda V-cams we use.
That reminds me, maybe we should make a V-cam with a TheSpritas logo.

It's what I do.
I make a new symbol put the V-Cam and logo/wide screen bars in a layer below it. It works fine for me. : o

I only have the AS2 version. Is it just an AS3 version of the VCAM?

If I remember correctly, AS3 vCam has 2 types: the normal one and a interactive one.NS01 wrote:I only have the AS2 version. Is it just an AS3 version of the VCAM?
Silly me never download both of them in the paste before the link broke, therefore I only have the normal one.

Interesting. What can the interactive Vcam do that the normal one cannot?

remember that when working with AS3, u can build codes outside of the Flash.NS01 wrote:Interesting. What can the interactive Vcam do that the normal one cannot?
And u can reuse them by just connecting your project with the MainClass to have all the ready made codes. (also known as Object Oriented Programming)
In my case, I was working on attaching a OOP quality button on my vCam, but it doesn't attach itself to vCam, unfortunately.

I went Google to look for solutions, then 1 person said use the interactive one, WHICH I don't have it and it isn't available because the link is broken. :/

Idk why I get this when I post links.New members are not allowed to post external links or emails for 7 days. Please contact the forum administrator for more information.
